Leadership Training Center of Trans World Radio India (TWRI) is situated at Paramankeni, Chengalpattu Dist., East Coast Road. It is about 90 kms from Chennai and 47 kms from Chengalpattu Railway Station. All registered participants will be informed about the directions to reach the venue and travel arrangements well ahead of the conference.

The landmark on the road is Saravana Vilas Hotel which is 25kms from Kalpakkam towards Pondicherry & about 55 Kms from Pondicherry towards Chennai.

Access and Travel Options

Pickup from Chengalpattu

Buses will be arranged from Chengalpattu to TWR campus on chargeable basis. On 15 January 2026 upto 7am in morning, pick up will be arranged from Chengalpattu.

By Own Vehicle

• Those who come via Vilupuram, take a right turn after Melmaruvathur and reach Camp Site Via Cheyyur.
• Those who come via Kanchipuram, reach Chengalpattu and then take the road towards Kalpakkam and at Vengapakkam Toll gate, take right turn in the ECR towards Pondy.

By Bus

• Chennai - Pondicherry ECR bus stop

Mugaiyur (2kms from venue towards Chennai) - All the Chennai-Pondicherry ECR buses will stop at Mugaiyur. Share autos are readily available at Mugaiyur to reach TWR.

• Many Private travel buses from various destinations operate to Chennai via Pondicherry. You can request to stop at Saravana Vilas Hotel or at Koovathur or at Mugaiyur as mentioned above.

By Train

• Trains to Chennai Egmore from South TN : Book your tickets till Chengalpattu such that you reach the railway junction before 6am on 15th January, to use the pickup.
• On select days, trains come to Pondicherry from the western part of TN. You can take buses from Pondicherry.
• Trains to Chennai Central (via Arakonam): Almost all the trains reaching Chennai in the morning reach Arakonam junction between 4:00 am and 5:00 am. From Arakonam trains are available to Chengalpattu between 5:00 am and 6:00 am.

Accomodation

Stay will be provided in Dormitories and each individual will be given a bunk bed, a pillow and a bed sheet.
